The Union of Concerned Scientists has released a new study which illustrates the extreme challenges that the east coast of the United States will face within the next 50 years if greenhouse gas emissions are not challenged and reduced. Considering how the massive population centers located between Atlantic City, New York City and Boston are already stressed due to excessive smog (low level ozone), poor storm water drainage and a depleted agriculture and fisheries industry, the near-future does not look promising if sea levels continue to rise and air quality plummets.http://www.ucsusa.org/news/press_release/global-warming-to-hit-0044.html
By switching to a low VOC water-based coating that features P-Series glycol ethers and other HAPs free solvents you will help to reduce the output of low level ozone, commonly known as smog. Smog is one of the many heat trapping by-products of the industrial revolution that has made our modern lives so rich and fulfilling. Now that the environmental tables have turned we owe it to ourselves and future generations to reverse the negative environmental impact that we have imposed on ourselves and our only home- Planet Earth.
